Taking photos, printing photos and best browser

I've just been chatting to a friend who is still breaking in her new mac. Here are some early questions which I wanted to share some some super quick thoughts on ahead of a more detail posts.

How do I take photos which my mac?
There's a groovy little application called "Photo Booth" which will probably suit.

How do I fix up photos to print?
iPhoto is a good tool for managing your photos and getting them ready to print. It helps in three ways. Firstly, it will keep a collection of all your photos together so it's easy to find them. Secondly, it lets you tidy up your photos by doing things like cropping, adjusting colors, making them black and white. Finally, you can choose photos to export so you can take them to be printed.

Which browser should I use?
Safari is the default browser but Firefox has lots of groovy features.

Unanswered questions
How to give remote access to a desktop?
How do I change my browsers default language? (the mac is Dutch, my friend isn't... the browser is siding with the mac)

How do I ask more questions?
Send me an email or post a comment.
